The Fins & Grins is 40' custom built, powered by a reliable C-9 503 horsepower Caterpillar engine. The boat cruises at 20 knots and tops out at about 24 knots. A hydrodynamic hull was specially designed for an extremely comfortable ride and to be a stable vessel in drifting conditions. Captain Jim McClintock has been actively employed in the fishing business as a mate and a captain for over 35 years. He has fished North Carolina for giant bluefin tuna, the Florida Keys for sailfish and grouper, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for striped marlin and Ireland for sea trout and salmon.
